THE UNION OF THE CATHOLIC APOSTOLATE (UAC)

Who are the Pallottines?

The Pallottines (or UAC) is active in our Parish and its members always welcome new people interested in this little known, but much valued apostolate of the laity, devoted to listening closely to Jesus and to serving His poor and needy.

St. Vincent Pallotti, referred to as the Prophet of Communion, was a 19th century priest in the Diocese of Rome.  Despite a deep desire to become a missionary, St. Vincent served his entire priestly life in Rome. Pallotti developed a great love for the poor and a desire to bring people back to the Church. Two principles that guided St. Vincent throughout his ministry were his hopes to revive faith in Catholics and rekindle charity in every person he met, especially those who had gone away from Christ and the Church.
